My drake skills are not absolutely maxed out but they're pretty good with T2 everything and all relevant skills at 4 or 5. It doesn't really complete either of these sites with style (low DPS) but it is pretty reliable, stable, and safe.

and I have also completed the oruze in one. Your replies so far probably suggest the correct answer is "sort of".Īn active / passive (using shield hardeners) or fully passive (resistance amps but no hardeners) shield tanked drake is fine solo in the FFS. Also what is the best method to farm solo. So I'm curious if this is still possible. The problem though is everyone keeps telling that they are not sure if the drake can still do this since the neut change. I have heard from a bunch of people that the drake can solo everything in a c3 with good skills. Solo Drake pilots are either easy kills or baits. It will go much faster, safer and you'll have more fun (and also more ISK/h).Īnd like the guy above me said, keep an eye on directional. Perhaps you could launch them on 2BS spawns, sometimes they can be useful for pulling aggro off you :)Ī better solution to all this is to find a friend or two to run sites with or a nice WH corp that runs C3 sites. Don't use drones solo, they won't last one minute. If you find yourself running out of cap, exchange one invulnerability field for a shield recharger. Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Heavy MissileĬore Probe Launcher I, Core Scanner Probe I AB is mandatory and will mitigate most of their damage even with a single web on you (e.g., last spawn in solar cell). The trick is to learn the sites, know where the 2 BS spawns show up and be close so you can orbit at speed.

FFS sites are easy, solar cell doesn't have any neuting in the last wave and when doing oruze, focus on killing all but one upholder cruisers in the first spawn as they will neut you dead. You can solo most of the sites in a C3 with a well skilled and properly equipped Drake, but forget about Radars, Mags and OFS sites (too much webbing and 2 BSs in the last wave).
